Fair warning before you read further: I am not an expert, and I have no intention of pretending to be one. What I am is genuinely curious. Someone who finds it hard to look at a stock price without first asking what the central bank did last quarter, or what is quietly shifting in the global monetary order. This blog is a record of that curiosity, not a source of financial advice.
My background is in Economics. I invest in both the Indonesian and American equity markets, which keeps me busy connecting dots across very different regulatory environments, monetary cycles, and market behaviors.
I hold a strong conviction that everything in finance begins with macroeconomics. Asset prices, credit cycles, currency movements are all downstream effects of broader structural forces. I try to trace things back to their root before forming any view.
